At Brick Wood Fired Bistro, fire is at the heart of everything we do — from the way we cook to the way we bring people together. Since opening in 2015, Brick has been proud to serve Prince Frederick and the greater Calvert County community with bold, wood-fired New American cuisine rooted in fresh, locally inspired ingredients.

Founded by owner Jason Nagers and his family, Brick was created to be a place where elevated food meets an inviting, neighborhood atmosphere. Our menu blends wood-fired pizzas, house made pasta, seasonal entrees, and handcrafted cocktails — all designed to be approachable, creative, and full of flavor.

In 2025, we proudly celebrated 10 years of serving our community. Over the past decade, Brick has grown into more than just a restaurant — it’s a gathering place for celebrations, casual nights out, weekend brunches, live music, and everything in between.

We’re honored to have been featured in local publications, including The BayNet, recognizing our commitment to quality food, hospitality, and community. After 10 years, our mission remains the same: great food, genuine hospitality, and memorable experiences — every time you walk through our doors.

One of the Calvert County dining scene’s most recent additions, Brick Wood Fired Bistro opened its doors in late 2015 and from its stylish, contemporary space in Prince Frederick serves seasonally inspired cuisine focusing on fresh, local ingredients and wood-fired cooking. A range of gourmet burgers and wood-fired pizzas feature on executive chef Troy Horn’s menu, alongside tempting New American entrees like double bone-in pork chop with a maple-bacon butter glaze, creamy polenta and seasonal roasted vegetables. Its libations are equally local with plenty of Maryland produced brews from the likes of Calvert Brewing Company and Jailbreak Brewing served along with handcrafted cocktails featuring herbs from the bistro’s very own rooftop garden.
